EveryDay Labs Top 5 of 2025

It’s been another whirlwind year for all of us in the education world, but it wasn’t without some fun moments and celebrations. We know you have them too and look forward to seeing your new wins in 2026! Read on as we look back and celebrate our favorite parts of 2025.
Over 3.1 million student absences prevented to date
As we close out 2025, we are proud to share that we serve over 1.6 million students across 4,000 schools and 72 school districts in 24 states. 2025 saw us prevent over 3.1 million student absences to date, translating to over 1.1 billion minutes of instruction since 2018. Our co-founder Todd Rogers and his colleagues estimate that this translates to a $2 billion increase in lifetime earnings for the students we have served. As the calendar turns to January, we expect to connect our 1 millionth family to school district resources.
The First Attendance Innovation Awards Honored 5 Innovative Districts

Educators across the country are trying all sorts of cool things to improve student attendance, and we were incredibly impressed with the many submissions we received. This summer, we ultimately honored 5 teams who exemplify the power of collaborating with students, families, and the broader community to build meaningful initiatives that drive strong attendance.
Grand Prize Winner: Menchville High School - Newport News Public Schools, Virginia
Implementing a special soccer league to improve attendance for students who are English Learners, the team elevated the love of the sport which not only brought more students into school but also introduced them to skills beyond athleticism, including statistics and public speaking.
Four Runner Up Winners:

New Website Launched

Back in April, we were thrilled to reveal our website’s fabulous makeover! One of our main intentions was to provide a better resource for K-12 educators as they continue the challenging work of improving attendance. In addition to tons of customer stories, research, and toolkits, you can also take a guided tour of our platform and explore the sandbox, plus request free in-person professional learning!
The EveryDay Platform is Now a Multi-Channel Communications Hub!
We are constantly evolving our attention solution to meet the ever-changing needs of educators nationwide. That’s why we not only made it easier to manage your attendance interventions directly from the EveryDay Platform, but added additional communications that bring families in as partners in their students’ education and strengthen school communities. This includes celebratory messaging when students are on a positive attendance streak, targeted campaigns to address specific attendance patterns, and health-minded messaging connecting families to resources and providing guidance and reminders on when it’s safe to return.
