Part of our comprehensive attendance solution, EveryDay Platform not only provides district and school educators with a multi-channel communications hub and intervention tracking tools, but also robust and beautifully simple dashboards that present a clear, real-time view of attendance patterns, trends, and risk indicators at the student, school, and district levels. By bringing multiple layers of information together in one intuitive interface, the data dashboards within the EveryDay Platform help teams quickly move from “What’s happening?” to “Here’s what we’re doing next.” Read on and explore the trusted attendance data dashboards that educators consistently find most valuable.

Real-Time Attendance Visibility Across the District

Student attendance can change every day, making it especially critical to have access to the latest data when planning campaigns and providing support. And yet many district and school leaders still rely on their data team or SIS for the latest attendance data, dealing with stale data, fragmented data systems, or information overload that delays decision-making and action.

EveryDay Labs dashboards are built for continuous use: supporting daily monitoring, weekly leadership reviews, and ongoing planning conversations. Their intuitive design ensures that district and school leaders can quickly access the information they need without extensive technical training and gain insights into work going on across their school and district.

The dashboards on the EveryDay Platform consolidate student, school, and district level attendance data into simple views, updated nightly, encouraging quick action, meaningful conversations, and better resource allocation.

The EveryDay Platform surfaces both attendance rates & chronic absenteeism rates at the district and school level, because a high attendance rate may hide a high chronic absenteeism rate.

Educators can use the EveryDay Platform dashboards to quickly identify emerging trends, such as seasonal dips or worsening attendance, to inform effective targeted family campaigns. This real-time visibility allows leadership teams to respond earlier, deploying supports and intervention before small attendance challenges become more persistent chronic absenteeism issues.

Early Identification of At-Risk Students

By the time students become entrenched in chronic absenteeism, getting them back on track can be exceedingly difficult. On the flip side, prompt action when students start exhibiting early absenteeism patterns can make turning the story around much easier.

The EveryDay Labs data dashboards make it easy for educators to surface early warning indicators of attendance challenges. Instead of waiting until students meet traditional chronic absence thresholds (and research suggests academic decline may even happen before this point), leaders can view at-risk students. The EveryDay Platform is the only one that automatically surfaces attendance patterns, including day of the week absences, prior year absenteeism, and early absenteeism.  Educators can quickly filter a district-wide or school specific student list to get quick insights into newly emerging patterns and trends.

Easy filtering capabilities brought us a view of at-risk students with a pattern of missing Fridays and attendance trending down.

With this information at their fingertips, teams can:

  • Prioritize outreach to students with declining attendance rates
  • Coordinate interventions across attendance teams and administrators
  • Ensure limited resources are focused where they can have the greatest impact

Early identification shifts attendance work from reactive to proactive, enabling schools to support students and families before disengagement deepens.

Actionable Insights to Inform Smart Support

The dashboard allows leaders to move seamlessly from district-level overviews to detailed school and student views, helping them answer critical operational questions. It’s easy to see which schools need additional attendance support, and which may have something to teach the others.

Watching attendance in key transition grades like Kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade is another great way to get ahead of trends. The EveryDay Platform quickly surfaces whether there are particular grade levels experiencing higher absence rates.

Finding the students who need immediate support and getting organized to deliver the right support can be challenging without the right data. The EveryDay Platform makes it easy to pinpoint who needs attention now.

Locate students requiring immediate intervention in just one click.

It’s easy to disaggregate data by school, grade, or demographic. For example, if you’re tracking the progress of students eligible for free & reduced lunch, there’s a dashboard on the EveryDay Platform that shows how it’s going at the district, school, and student levels.

Track chronic absenteeism progress on numerous student demographics like FRL status, ELL status, and homeless status at the district and school levels.

Because these insights are easy to access and interpret, principals and attendance teams can integrate dashboard reviews into regular leadership meetings, ensuring attendance remains a visible and ongoing priority. They can also be leveraged for student and family conversations. Our partner Priscilla Espinoza, School Clerk at Semitropic Elementary School, has shared “EveryDay Labs is the easiest way to show my kids, in a color-coordinated way… they have more of an attention span to it. I would click on the little sidebar and show them this is all you, this is what we need to work on.”

Measure Outreach Impact

We’re all human, and seeing signs of progress is a key part of the motivation and fulfillment that keeps us going. Difficult work like attendance improvement is no exception, which is why the EveryDay Platform dashboards make it easy to see the impact of ongoing campaigns.

Whether it’s checking for a lift in attendance after launching a campaign, or comparing year over year progress, the EveryDay Labs dashboards make it easy to see the impact of your work.

Our partners in Tempe Elementary tracked attendance changes year over year after launching a targeted campaign focusing on improving attendance before and after Thanksgiving break. In addition to sending their regularly scheduled bi-weekly text nudges, the EveryDay Labs team sent a text message to families the Friday before Thanksgiving break, reminding them of the importance of attending the week before Thanksgiving, and a text on the first day of break wishing them a wonderful holiday and a reminding them of the first day back. After the campaign was completed, the team compared calendar dashboards from the prior year and found that attendance had improved over 6 percentage points the day before break and over 4 percentage points the day after break.

You can also compare the performance of a specific school against the overall district, surfacing trends, bright spots, and challenges.

Educators can gain further insights into how families are interacting with EveryDay Labs’ individualized family support resources. The platform provides an overview of district and family resources that the Family Support Bot has served up to district families, providing insights into common challenges and barriers.

By having access to the latest data, whether celebrating progress and highlighting challenges, leaders using the EveryDay Platform can continuously refine their strategies and confidently invest in the approaches that produce the strongest results.

Simplified Reporting for District Stakeholders

District leaders frequently need to share attendance updates with school boards, superintendents, and community partners. The EveryDay Labs dashboards streamline this process by providing ready-to-use visual summaries and exportable reports that highlight the information they need, when they need it.

The dashboards also surface key areas of improvement or emerging concern, current attendance performance at the school and district levels, and a high level breakdown of where students are falling across attendance tiers. No longer pulling and reviewing manual spreadsheets, staff can spend more time implementing campaigns and supporting students.

It’s easy to get a quick glimpse into where students are, inform campaigns for a strong MTSS strategy, and get to the student level with just a click, viewing the students falling within each tier.

Moving From Data to Impact

Attendance improvement hinges on timely insights, coordinated action, and continuous learning about what works. The dashboards provided by the EveryDay Labs platform helps districts bring these elements together, providing a clear, actionable picture of attendance trends while equipping leaders with the tools they need to intervene earlier, measure progress, and help more students show up every day, ready to learn.
